KET Multimedia Utilization Workshop

Utilization WorkshopWould some top-notch training help energize your adult ed and GED preparation programs? KET will be hosting a Multimedia Utilization Workshop, February 25-26, 2008 in Lexington, Kentucky. Presenters will primarily use PBS LiteracyLink GED/Pre-GED Connection and Workplace Essential Skills along with TV411 to teach best practices for combining video, print and online materials to reach more learners. If you want to make better use of your multimedia materials, plan to join us!

During this two-day workshop you’ll learn techniques for using GED Connection, Workplace Essential Skills and TV411 effectively as multimedia tools in the classroom and for distance learning. See the tentative agenda for details. The $225 fee covers the workshop, computer lab, trainer’s manual, teacher’s guide, orientation video DVD and workbooks to take home, plus continental breakfast and lunch both days and a certificate of completion. Please call or send your registration form with payment or PO number to Barbara Farha by Friday, January 25. Registrants who cancel after January 30 will be responsible for 20% of the registration fee. Attendance will be limited to 25 participants.
